McDONNELL
Robert J. McDonnell, age 68, of Delaware, Ohio passedaway on Friday April 20, 2012. He was preceded in death by parents, Lester & Edith McDonnell, brothers William, Theodore and Donald McDonnell. He will be sadly missed and is survived by his loving wife Carol of 48 years; children Laura (Doug) Zallanta of Powell, Diane (Trace) VanDyne of Sunbury, Kevin (Bonnie) McDonnell of Powell; brothers, Ronald of Boise, Idaho and Fred of Hilliard; as well as many grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Robert graduated from Central High School and served in the U.S. Navy. He owned Bob McDonnell Body Shop and worked at GAB Appraisal Services, enjoyed being a private pilot and joining friends on ham radio. He was a very giving person who was always there for anyone in need. Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME 55 East Schrock Road Westerville, 5-8 p.m. Wednesday April 25, 20112. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday April 26, 2012 at St. Paul the Apostle Parish, 313 North State Street Westerville, Ohio. Fr. Daniel Dury Celebrant. Entombment Resurrection Cemetery. Prayer Service 7:45 p.m. Wednesday.
