Robert Lee Samson (Bob)

March 4, 1926-June 21, 2024

 

Born March 4, 1926, Robert Lee Samson (Bob) of Delaware, Ohio went to be with the Lord, Friday, June 21, 2024 surrounded by love ones. He was preceded in death by his parents Ralph Calvert Samson and Leitha Imogene Samson; his wife and mother of his children Jimmie Ruth (Hall) Samson and the second love of his life Eleanor (Sage) Samson; his brother James (Doris) Samson. Bob is survived by his children Tom (Becky) Samson, Chuck (Jannie) Samson, Robin (Steve) Bodenham, Melissa (Missy) Wulliger and Bruce (Cathy) Samson. Bob had many wonderful grandchildren and great grandchildren who made him so proud. Bob was a WWll veteran who loved to fly, eat bratwurst with sauerkraut, drink black coffee, and wear his Hawaiian shirts! Please wear your favorite Hawaiian shirt to the services in honor of Bob!  Bob served his family, his country, and most importantly his Lord. He was loved very much and will be missed. Funeral calling hours are 11:00 am to 1:00 pm followed by the funeral service 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, on Thursday June 27, 2024 at Moreland Funeral Home, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Ohio. Bob will be laid to rest following services at Northlawn Memory Gardens, 7060 OH-3, Westerville. Immediately following gravesite services, please join the family at Bob’s Church, First Baptist Church of Westerville,104 S. Spring Road for food and fellowship. For nearly 25 years I have worked with Bruce and heard stories about his wonderful, amazing dad. I am so sorry for the loss of this wonderful man! What an amazing life he had and he will live on through his children and their children. My sincerest condolences.
