Robert W. Kirby, age 93, of Westerville, OH passed away April 17, 2016 at St. Ann’s Hospital. Retired from Columbia Gas of Ohio. Member Church of the Messiah United Methodist and Westerville Senior Center. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II where he was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross and Air Medal with 3 clusters. Survived by children, Guy George Kirby, Carolyn (Steve) Kirby-Rogers and Carla (Michael) Moore; grandchildren, Clayton Moore, Skylar and Rachelle Rogers. Preceded in death by his wife, Regina B. Kirby; sisters, Louise Godman and June Crawford. Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNERALHOME, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Tuesday 6-8 p.m. where service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m., Rev. Kathy Currier, officiating. Interment Northlawn Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Pilot Dogs, 625 W. Town Street, Columbus, OH 43215.

Dear Guy and family
We want you to know how much Bob meant to us and so many friends and acquaintances at the MCL Restaurant in Westerville. He was a long term member of the MCL Scooter’s Club and will be so missed. Always enjoyed Bob’s company at dinner during the week and especially his great sense of humor and fine wit. we will hold on to so many wonderful memories. Bob always spoke so highly of his family. Expressing Deepest Sympathy to all of you at this difficult time.
