Bob had been my barber since I first came to Westerville in 1988, looking to find where I could get a two dollar haircut for under ten dollars. The hair cut was eleven dollars, but that was Bob. Always on top of the news in Westerville, usually no outbreaks of honesty at City Hall. Always a great time at the Barber Shop, even if we ragged on Bob that the hair cut was not so good, Bob’s answer I am doing the best with what I have to work with, you.
sincerely
Chris Cupp (the one who paid with $2 bills)

Kenney family,
We are very sad to see the sign posted on the shop. It was hard to explain to a 11 year old that we had to find a new barber. Bob did such a great job on his hair as well as his other brother’s! He will be deeply missed

My father brought me to visit Bob at the corner shop for a haircut in 1975, he has been my barber ever since. I was shocked to learn of his passing when I stopped by the shop today. I always looked to Bob as a special member of the family and will greatly miss our visits. My thoughts and prayers are with your family as you mourn the passing of a rare soul.

I was a regular customer at Bob’s Barber Shop and was in shock when I arrived there today to see a sign that Bob had passed away. He was such a great guy and always made me laugh. I am so sorry for your loss. He will truly be missed.
Sincerely,

I was so sorry about reading the passing of Bob today, He was my Barber for many many years and a friend. I always looked forward to my visits to his shop as a younger man and the conversations about everything we had. I had lot track of him the last several years but had thought of him often. My thoughts and prayers are with your family. I am sorry I was not able to attend the service. RIP Bob .

Bob was not only a great barber, we was a consummate politician, storyteller, and all around good guy. He know everything about Westerville, and he made everyone feel welcome and comfortable in his shop. It doesn’t seem real that he won’t wave to me as I bike by his shop on my way to work.
