Robert J. Trautner, age 76, of Westerville, passed away July 16, 2024 at home. Formerly employed by Columbus Distributing Co., former owner of Squares Carry Out and franchisee of Little Debbie Snacks. Survived by his wife of 55 years, Melinda; son, Robert J. Trautner, II (fiance, Courtney McCreery); grandchildren, Izabella Rose and Elijah James Trautner; great-grandchildren, Wriggs Everett Crabtree; brother, Donald J. (Jane) Trautner; sisters, Barbara (John) Thompson, Cheryl (Jack) Hall and Debby Ruckman (Valdia Washburn); sister-in-law, Susie Young. many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Church of the Messiah United Methodist Church, 51 N. State Street, Westerville, Friday, July 19th from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. followed by a service at 1 p.m., Rev. Pete Elliott, officiating. Interment Otterbein Cemetery.
