Graveside service Friday, December 5th at 1 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery, 5079 Columbus Pike Lewis Center, Ohio 43015
Robert "Bob" Ward, 90, of Centerburg passed away Sunday Nov. 30th at Grant Medical Center.
He was born in Lawrenceburg, TN but was raised in the Mts. of Dahlonega G. with his 2 brothers and 1 sister.
He came to Columbus Ohio as a young man where he met and married his wife of 40 yrs.' Barbara J. Long. Together they had 5 children. He was preceded in death by his wife and daughter, Valerie J. He is survived by son, Daniel, (Pav Sterry), and daughters, Susan, Rosemary and Anne.
He was a veteran of the army and spent time in Austria. After leaving the army he had a long career at Lennox.
He loved to make people laugh and was known for being resourceful and able to fix most things, He spent much of his spare time working on the house or fixing cars for his family. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, old westerns, and watching OSU football.
Graveside services will be held Friday Dec. 5th 1pm at Evergreen Cemetery, 5079 Columbus Pike Lewis Center, Ohio 43015.
