ADAMS
Robert Leo Adams, 85, of Westerville, passed away Monday Sept. 19, 2011 at St. Ann’s Hospital. A proud WWII S/Sgt Army Air Corp Veteran who served with the 423rd Bombardment Squadron (HVY), 306th Bomber Group. Bob was an avid golfer and bowler who loved playing cards, watching sports and military movies. He had a quick wit and great sense of humor and was admired and liked by everyone who knew him. He was a devoted and loving father who loved his family unconditionally and will be greatly missed but always remembered in our hearts. Preceded in death and is now together again with his wife of 55 years, Mary (Kious) Adams. Survived by children: Cynthia Parker, Nancy (David) Duffy, Mitchell (Collette) Adams and Diana (Bud) Simpson. Proud grandfather of 8 grandchildren: Jason (Whitney), Matthew (Danielle), Zach (Kellie) Parker, Jessica Cravey, Kyle Simpson, Tony, Austin and Alec Adams. Great Grandchildren: Mattie, Shaun, Grace, Parker, Sloane, Kenzie Belle and Violet. Sisters and their families: Patricia Malowney and Marjorie Fuller. Dedicated nephews: Don (Jane) McMeekin, Dick (Sandy) McMeekin, David McMeekin and Arch (Unalee) Kious. Niece, Linda (Bob) Louse. Special Thank You to the nurses and staff at St. Ann’s. The family will receive friends at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME 55 East Schrock Road Westerville, Sunday 5-8 p.m. where service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday September 26, 2011. Interment Union Cemetery.
