It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Rita Susor, from Oregon, Ohio who left us peacefully on November 7, 2025, at the age of 88. Rita was born on February 27, 1937, and lived a life filled with love, laughter, and the joy of spending time with her family and friends.
Rita enjoyed the simple pleasureswhether it was hitting the links on the golf course, indulging in retail therapy, or traveling. She especially cherished trips to the lake with her family, where memories were made, and bonds were strengthened. Rita's heart was always open, and she was truly happiest when surrounded by her loved ones.
Though she worked briefly in the family business, Masstron Scale, Ritas true legacy was her deep love for her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Gladys Lamb; her beloved husband William "Bill" Susor; and her brother, Robert Lamb (Joan). Rita is survived by her brother, William Lamb (Kathy); devoted daughter Kathy Rosenbleeth (Michael) and son Robert "Bob" Susor (Kim), four adoring grandchildren Justin Rosenbleeth (Beth), Jason Rosenbleeth (Angelle), Courtney Browell (Andrew), and Chase Susor (Bridget); and nine cherished great-grandchildren, Greyson, Hayes, William, Isla, Mira, Arthur, Colette, Thomas and Helen.
Rita had a gift for kindness. Her greatest joy in life came from watching her great-grandchildren, who affectionately called her Nonie, play and grow, a role she cherished more than words can express. Her love, compassion, and generous spirit will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Service will be held Saturday, November 15th at 9 a.m. at Moreland Funeral Home, 55 East Schrock Road, Westerville, OH. followed by burial at Blendon Central Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to an Alzheimer's Association in Ritas name, to continue the giving spirit she so embodied.
Rita will be remembered not only for her warm heart and loving presence but also for the indelible mark she left on her family and the world around her. She will be missed, but never forgotten.
Mom - we love and miss you, and are so thankful that you've found peace.

Kathy & Bobby, We are thinking of you and your families during this difficult time. Your mom’s love for you, her family, her grandkids and great-grandkids, was such a blessing. She got to know each of them and held great pride with each. May precious memories bring you comfort and peace.
