MILLER
Rick “Red” Miller, age 51, of Columbus, formerly of Johnstown, OH, passed away Friday, February 14, 2014. Born April 17, 1962. Electrician. Preceded in death by his father, James Miller and step-father, Richard Bolton. Survived by his wife of 20 years, Kim; son, Corey; mother, Betty Miller-Bolton; sister, Terry (John) Salser; nephew, Sean Salser; niece, Megan Salser; favorite aunt and uncle, Marion and Betty Disbennett; many other aunts, uncles cousins, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 18th from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME 55 East Schrock Road, Westerville with a service to follow at 8 p.m.. Fr. Dan Dury, celebrant. Private interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to National Kidney Foundation 2800 Corporate Exchange Dr. #260, Columbus, OH 43235.

I am so sorry to read of your loss. I know the pain of losing loved ones and it’s only natural to wonder why God allows this to happen, but I was comforted in knowing that God views death as an enemy and will soon death, sickness, pain and suffering to an end. (1 Corinthians 15:26, Revelation 21:4) and even more comforting is that He plans to bring our dead loved ones back to life one day. (John 5:28,29) I hope these scriptures help you cope until that day comes.

I have found memories of Rick growing up in Johnstown. From playing football together and riding in his blue jeep to school and back. He will be missed. My prayers go out to his Mom and Sister. Steve Leigh
