Richard S. Valentin, age 90, of Powell, OH passed away August 22, 2016. Retired from U.S. Customs. Member of Atonement Lutheran Church. U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Survived by his wife of 63 years, Elaine; sons, Kurt and Eric. Preceded in death by his son, Paul, and brother, Henry. Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Monday 6-8 p.m.. Service will be held at Atonement Lutheran Church, 1621 Francisco Road, Columbus, OH Tuesday at 11 a.m., Pastor Richard Schneider, officiating. Interment Burnside Cemetery.

Our condolences on your loss. Dick was a long and loving member of Atonement. I clearly remember his serving so ably as church tresurer when I first started attending Voters meetings in 1969.
