Richard Sigmond Sabo, age 84 of Howard, OH formerly of Westerville, passed away at home, Saturday, September 7, 2024 in Apple Valley with his family. A devoted father, grandfather, brother, friend, uncle and father-in-law.

Preceded in death by his beautiful wife, Mary Sue; his parents, Sigmond and Dorothy; brother, Vic Sabo and brothers-in-law, Pat Quinn and Paul Fronk.

He is survived by his children, Richard (Courtney) Sabo, Thomas Sabo, Joseph Sabo and Molly (Brian) Beck; grandchildren, Christopher and Carley Sabo, Evan and Savannah Sabo and Sydney and Ellie Beck; sisters, Dee Fronk, Mary (Ron) Nelson and brother, Terry (Paula) Sabo; sisters-in-law, Alice (Robert) Croce and Paulette Quinn; brother-in-law, Thomas(Fran) Quinn. Many friends, nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Barry George and the amazing staff at Knox Community Hospital.

He lived a loved and joyful life with many friends and family and will be deeply missed.

Friends may call 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at Moreland Funeral Home, 55 East Schrock Road, Westerville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, September 12, 2024 at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church 313 North State Street, Westerville. Burial will conclude in Resurrection Cemetery.
