My sincerest condolences to the family. I first met Dick when he built his excavating business building in Harlem Twp. During the next approximately 30 years I could not count the number of people Dick went “above and beyond” to help. Many times I saw Dick put his own work off to help somebody with their problems.

Jan- May God’s peace and comfort be with you and the Herritt family during this time of loss. Your father, Richard R. Herritt lived a full and meaningful life, filled with hard work, love, and dedication to his family. His steadfast faith and service are a testament to the hope we have in Christ. As the Lord promises in John 14:27, ‘Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.’ May his legacy of faith and family continue to inspire all who knew him. He is now reunited with his beloved wife, Katherine, and is at peace in the presence of our Lord.

I remember coming over to your house and your mom was always so welcoming and kind. I remember your dad as a strong and hard-working man, whose entire face participated whenever he laughed! They are now reunited and surely your mom is showing him around. 🙂
