McCONAGHY
Richard J. McConaghy, age 69, of Westerville, passed away April 18, 2014 at Outlook Manor. Retired from ODOT after 25 years of service. Attended Stanton Military Academy and graduated from Ashland High School where he was a member of 1962 Ohio High School Golf Championship Team. An avid golfer. Survived by his son, Steven (Teresa) McConaghy of Westerville and daughter, Lisa Sulser of Gahanna; grandchildren, Taylor, Zachary, Samantha and Carter; former wife, Paula McConaghy; nephew, James Thornburg and niece, Elizabeth Steward. Preceded in death by his parents, James and Helen McConaghy, sister, Margaret Danner. Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Wednesday 6-8 p.m. followed by a service at 8 p.m., Rev. Jim Wilson, officiating. Graveside service and interment will be held at Ashland Cemetery, Ashland, OH, Thursday at 11 a.m..
