Richard Griz D. Peck, 81, passed away on Friday, January 6, 2023. He was born March 19, 1941, in Columbus, Ohio, and graduated from Johnstown High School in 1960. After graduating, Richard spent much of his career driving trucks before retiring. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, telling jokes, and above all else, spending time with his family. Richard is survived by his wife of 59 years, Peggy (Lewis) Peck, whom he loved immensely, his dog, Molly, daughter, Marcia (Brad), sons Dan and John (Stephanie), grandchildren Amanda (Ben), Jaymee (Chris), Elizabeth, Clayton (Lauren), Madelyn, Cole, Tyler (Karina) and Jessica, 10 great grandchildren, and countless other friends and loved ones. A visitation for family and friends will be held Saturday, Jan. 14 from 2-4 p.m. at Moreland Funeral Home, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, OH 43081.

Peggy and family, Kathy and I are sorry for the loss of your husband and father. Dick was a good man, always caring and a bright light and the reunions and visits to Johnstown. He will be missed.
