Richard Benton

Richard L. “Dick” Benton, age 90, of Westerville, passed away Monday, October 9, 2017. Retired from Battellle Memorial Institute. Member of Still Going Club, Westerville Senior Center and he attended Church of the Saviour United Methodist Church. Survived by his wife of 70 years, Dorothy; children, Steve (Jackie) Benton of Griffin, GA, Diane Benton and Karen Benton Dodson, both of Westerville; grandchildren, Stevi (Marillia) Benton, Danny Dodson and Jennifer (Chris) Stupski; great-grandchildren, Bryson and Milo Stupski; cousins, nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Thursday 6-8 p.m. where service will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m., Rev. John Wallace, officiating. Interment Kingwood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The James Cancer Hospital.
