Peggy A. Cahill, 86, of Westerville, Ohio entered the kingdom of heaven on October 10, 2023. She was born to the late Webster T. Swain and Garnet O. Swain of Gallia Co. Ohio. Peggy was a vibrant, creative, hard working wife and mother who loved spending time with friends and family. She found joy working in her garden, playing cards, traveling and supporting her children in their various sports and activities. She was involved in Westerville North athletic boosters for several years. Peggy started working at North American as a telephone operator and later became a stay at home housewife. After her husband Michael passed she began to work for Westerville City Schools in food service for 28 years where she met many cherished friends. Peggy was a long time member of Harlem Road Church where she was involved in women ministries and childrens activities.
She is survived by her loving daughter Melissa (Mimi) Cahill and daughter-in-law Vicky Cahill. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, sister-in-law Mariam Higgins-Spangler, brother-in-law James Wilcox, many close friends including her dear friends Ruby and Ronnie Passen.
Peggy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Michael T. Cahill and son, Brent T. Cahill. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Bill, Bob, Jack, John, Webster Jr. Swain as well as her sisters, Naomi Ringgold and Patricia Wilcox.
The family would like to give special thanks to the Gables of Westerville Memory Care and Capital City Hospice for their compassion and caring of Peggy during the past several months.
Peggys visitation will be held at Moreland Funeral Home, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Monday October 16th starting at 12:00 pm. with services to follow at 2:00 pm. She will be laid to rest at North Lawn Cemetery directly after the service.
Peggys life will be remembered by all whose lives shes touched. Her laughter and smile will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

1. Treat those the way you want to be treated.
2. The glass is half full.
3. Always stand up for yourself.
4. No, I DID NOT cheat at dominos!
