Paula Lynn Wolter passed away on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at St Anns Hospital, succumbing to complications of Prader Willi Syndrome. She was born August 30, 1964 in Canton, Ohio to Ronald H and Patricia A Wolter, both of whom preceded her in death.
Paula graduated from Firestone High School, Akron, Ohio in 1982. She worked at ARC North in Columbus and Abundant Abilities in Delaware.
Paula loved her cats, Bootsie, Mousie, and Roo. She was good friends with her longtime housemate, Stephanie. They had many adventures together.
Paula had an infectious smile and a hearty laugh. She will be missed by many.
Paula is survived by her sister, Beverly K (Bruce) Cherry; her brother, Keith Wolter; an aunt, Dolores Kreisher; numerous cousins; and a nephew and two nieces.
We would like to thank the caring, dedicated staff of Minamyer/Beacon for their wonderful care for Paula over these many years. Funeral service is this coming Saturday, July 8, 11am with Visitation at 10am, at St Paul Lutheran Church, 4686 E Walnut St, Westerville, Ohio. Graveside committal immediately after, followed by lunch at the church.
Friday Visitation, 6-8pm, at Moreland Funeral Home, 55 E Schrock Rd, Westerville, Ohio. Our family is deeply grateful to everyone who has reached out in our time of sorrow.

It was so wonderful these last few months that Paula returned to ARC North as our receptionist. She loved the job and came everyday with a smile and a laugh. I have known Paula for many years and have witnessed so many great strides and accomplishments. We will miss her greatly.
