WOLF
Paul Henry Wolf died June 1, 2011 in Westerville, Ohio. Born July 8, 1928 in Cleveland, Ohio to Willard and Margaret Wolf. Proceeded in death by parents and grandson Charles. Survived by his best friend and loving wife of 61 years Ruth Ann Wolf (Mikesell), son Alan (Patricia) Wolf Gambier, Ohio, daughters Dian (Bill) Praither, Westerville, Ohio, Mary (Ken Francis) Wolf Centerburg, Ohio and Doris (Frank – Skip) Bennett Westerville, Ohio. Grandchildren; Lauren (Spencer) Pearson, Newark, Ohio, Eric Wolf, Grandview, Ohio, Ryan (Kim) Praither, Suffolk, Virginia, Stacie (Shaun) Holmes, Westerville, Ohio, Coleen (Jeff) Lenix, Sunbury, Ohio. Great-Grandchildren; Courtney and William Cole Praither, Triston Mayes, Cody Mayes, Megan and Kyra Holmes. Brother Karl (Becky) Wolf, sister-in-law/brother-in-law; Margene (Paul) Schuller, Dorothy Pflieger and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Most of all Paul enjoyed time with wonderful friends and family in Westerville, Ohio and Indian River, Michigan. Paul graduated from Westerville High in 1947 and married his high school sweetheart in 1949. He graduated from The Ohio State University June 1953 with a degree in Pharmacy. On that same graduation day Paul received his commission as 2nd Lieutenant in the US Army, and his father, Willard, received his doctorate degree. After returning from the Army he owned and operated Westerville Pharmacy until 1976. Paul and Ruth were longtime members of Grace Lutheran Church (Westerville) before moving to Indian River, Michigan. Paul was very active in the Central Ohio Academy of Pharmacy, Westerville and Indian River Kiwanis, Inland Lakes Snowmobile Club and Topinabee Community Church. Family will receive friends Monday June 6, 2011 at 10:00 AM with memorial service beginning at 11:00 AM at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Ohio; Pastor Rick Gordon, officiating. Interment will be at Otterbein Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, for those who wish, may contribute to St Ann’s/Mount Carmel Acute Palliative Care.
