Paul L. Blalock

Paul L. Blalock, age 82, of Westerville, Ohio, passed away at home on September 3, 2025. He was born October 20, 1942, in Columbus, Ohio.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Paul L. and Elizabeth; wife, Eleanor L. Blalock; his sons, Paul Jon and Stephen; and his brothers, Robert L. and Charles L. Blalock. He is survived by his brother, Nate Blalock; sister, Caroline; daughter, Tammy (Bryan) Yost; six grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

A proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Paul was also a member of the American Legion Post #0797 of Gahanna. He attended the Ohio State University, and after a long and honorable career with the United States Postal Service, he retired to enjoy his hobbies and interests. A lover of travel and adventure, Paul enjoyed visiting locations all over the country and was an avid fisherman, spending many hours on the water. He was also a dedicated and passionate Ohio State fan, rooting on and cheering for his beloved Buckeyes all his life. Paul will be missed by his loved ones and friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Moreland Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow immediately thereafter. The family is requesting that all visitors and mourners wear Ohio State attire in honor of Paul.
