Patricia Annette “Patty” Tracy-Bruso

Patricia Annette "Patty" Tracy-Bruso, age 60, of Westerville died on the evening of October 30, 2023. She was born September 3rd, 1963 to the late James and Jeannie Tracy. Patty was a devoted wife and still felt butterflies for her husband, Doug. She was also co-owner of their business DPM Enterprises and was a great business woman. She was an amazing mother who served not only to provide guidance, but as a rock and best friend for her daughter. She was a loving Mimi to her two grandchildren and loved watching them grow through the years. She was a social justice advocate and volunteered in many campaigns. She loved to play poker, either in person with friends, or with her online league. She was a great poker player and Texas Hold-Em was her favorite type. She also loved going to concerts, seeing Broadway plays, going to dinner with family, and singing to her favorite songs in the car or while she was working at her desk. She liked to travel, with the Outer Banks being one of her favorite destinations. She was a humble home cook and never thought her food was anything too special. Her husband and daughter would often disagree as many of their favorite foods were cooked by her hands. She was an enthusiastic fan of The OSU Buckeyes and The Pittsburgh Steelers. Her laughter is something that will be fondly remembered by many, as will her empathy and her charismatic personality.

In addition to her parents, Patty was preceded in death by her sister, Deanne Tracy; brother-in-law, Fred Schwaigert; and sister-in-law Rosemary Munson (Tracy). She is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Douglas "Doug" Bruso; adoring daughter, Megan Davis (Sean Weatherby); grandchildren, Hannah and Noah Davis; brothers, James and Michael Tracy; sisters, Jeanine (Steven) Page, Laura (Ken) Paisie, Kathleen Tracy, and Nadine Schwaigert; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Friends may visit from 1:00 pm-3:00 pm with a service immediately afterwards at Moreland Funeral Home, 55 East Schrock Rd Westerville, OH 43081 on November 11, 2023. A celebration of life will be held in Patty's honor at a later date, to be announced.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations at the Go Fund Me that was set up for them.
