Olive Olga Slanczka, 100, passed away October 31, 2024. Formerly from Elyria, she was a resident of Danbury Senior Living Community - Parkside Village in Westerville, Ohio. She was preceded in death by husband Walter in 2013 and grandson Travis Phillips in 2006. And by brothers Nick, Ted, Walt, Will, Steve and Andy Kaczay and sisters Kate Gradish and Sophie Habeck. She is survived by daughters Penny Phillips (Warren) of Westerville, Ohio and Debbie Kapples (Emery) of Jacksonville, Florida. Grandchildren Mededith LeGros (Nate) of Delaware, Ohio, Hillary Phillips of Washington D.C., and Shaun Kapples of Sebastian, Florida, one great-grandchild, and many nieces, nephews, great, great-great, and great-great-great nieces and nephews.
