KOONTZ
Noah K. Koontz, age 78, of Westerville, OH. July 6, 2011 at Kobacker House after a short illness. Retired from Ranco/Invensys. Graduate of Bridgewater College and attended University of Rochester, NY graduate school. Korean War veteran. Noah enjoyed traveling and was an avid Buckeye fan. Survived by his wife of 46 years, Elaine; children, Noah K. (Lori) Koontz, III, of Marysville, Marcy Fried-Hays and Lisa (Sean) Highes, all of Westerville; grandchildren, Nicole, Derek, Michael, Rachel, Krista, Patrick, Chelsea and Megan; sisters, Charlotte (Thomas) Blanchard, Gertrude Hammer and Joan (Ray) Shifflett; brother, David (Floe) Koontz; sister-in-law, Rena Koontz; many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents, Noah and Elsie Koontz, Sr.; sister, Jean Dickinson; brother, K. Philip; brothers-in-law, Royce Hammer and Homer Dickinson. Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Saturday from 12 noon-2:30 p.m.where service will follow at 2:30 p.m., Rev. James Meacham, officiating. Graveside service and interment will be held Monday 12 noon at Knollwood Cemetery, 1678 SOM Center Road, Mayfield Heights, OH.. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Kobacker House or Alzheimers Assn. in Noah’s memory.
