Nina was born in Oregon, Ohio on April 25, 1932 to the late Robert Beale and Lela (Odneal) Beale. Prior to retirement, she worked proudly for Bell Telephone, Otterbein College and St. Anns hospital as a switchboard operator. She loved, above all else, to spend time with her children & grandchildren. She also enjoyed visiting the beach, playing cards, swimming, gardening, and wearing bright colors, especially her favorite color, purple. Nina will always be remembered for her big heart, telling it how she sees it, funny facial expressions, and as an extraordinarily loving mother and grandmother. She will be dearly missed.

Friends may call at the Moreland Funeral Home, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Monday from 4-7 p.m. where service will be held Tuesday at 11 am. Interment Blendon Central Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Nina would be pleased if donations were made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital.

Condolences

Barbara M Duffy - Oct 30, 2023

Chris and I send our sympathy to all of Nina's family. I have so many memories of her from the years of family gatherings. One summer during college, I stayed with Bob and Nina and worked in Oregon. She was a very outgoing person and enjoyed life. She loved to bake and I have some of her recipes. She was a loving, caring and welcoming person. She will be missed. We send our love to all of her family and friends.

Brother-in-law Duane - Oct 29, 2023

We send our sympathy to Nina's family. We know she brought joy and comfort to my brother, Bob, and she brought joy to wherever she was. We're sorry we can no longer travel and so attend her service. I'm sure many wonderful memories will be shared.

Cathy Allen Cuellar - Oct 29, 2023

Dean and Kathleen- your family is in my prayers. Your mother was one of a kind- so so funny, unapologetically straightforward, more purple than royalty, and a beautiful soul. No doubt everyone is better off knowing Nina Rose is an angel watching over everyone now. God bless you.

Charlotte and Rob Gregersen - Oct 29, 2023

What a beautiful picture of Nina. Our thoughts, prayers and love to you all as you work through this journey. Nina was always a joy to be around. She will be missed by us all.
