Nancy M. Paschen, 72, passed away Wednesday August 16th at St. Ann’s Hospital. Born February 27, 1945 in Ashland, Kentucky. Predeceased by parents, Arthur J. and Lucille Ashworth Points of Ashland, Kentucky and sister, Carolyn Preston of Frankfort, Kentucky. Nancy graduated from Paul Blazer High School in 1963 and attended Georgetown College in Georgetown, Kentucky. She was married on October 8, 1970 at the Second Baptist Church in Ashland, Kentucky to Richard Paschen. She was employed by Second National Bank of Ashland, Kentucky and retired after 20 years of service with Huntington Banks/Easton in 2005. She was loved by many and was known as Nana or Nonnie to her grandchildren. Nancy always enjoyed boating on Hoover Resevoir where she was a member of the Buckeye Boat Club. She and Richard participated in many events over the years. During the winter months Nancy and Richard thoroughly enjoyed being “Ohio Snow Birds” by spending time in Siesta Key, Venice and numerous years in Naples, Florida where they made many friends. While in Naples she would volunteer at the Community Congregational Church resale store in Bonita Springs. In Westerville she has been active in The Friends of The Brian Muha Memorial Foundation. She is survived by her husband Richard and daughters Jennifer (Pierre) Bergeron and children Elise and Lawson of Cincinnati, Ohio and Susan (Micah) Mercurio and children Isa, Gaby and Thomas of Westerville. She was so proud of her grandchildren and enjoyed being around them while attending many school and sports events. She is also survived by her brothers, Tom Points of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Steve (Susie) Points of Pinehurst, North Carolina and brother-in-law, Tommy Preston of Frankfort, Kentucky. The family will receive friends at MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Rd., Westerville on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. A memorial service will be held at Central College Presbyterian Church Chapel, 975 S. Sunbury Road, Westerville on Monday August 21st at 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to The Brian Muha Foundation, Gayle Green, Treasurer, 5712 Twin Lakes Court, Westerville, Ohio 43082.
