Nan DeWitt, age 86, of Centerburg, OH passed away September 3, 2017. She was an active member of the Sparta United Methodist Church and her community. She is survived by her children, Stan DeWitt, Barbara (Ray) Sander, Donald DeWitt, Patty DeWitt and David (Elizabeth) DeWitt; grandchilden, Gina Stricker, Kelly Sperk, Abigail DeWitt and Samuel DeWitt; great-grandchildren, Cameron and Madison Sperk, Tyler and Gabriel Stricker; sisters, Jane Pruett and Diana DeWitt; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert; children, Steve and Rebecca DeWitt; daughter-in-law, Kelly Lybarger-DeWitt; parents, George and Eliza Fry. Friends may call at the JOHNSON-MELICK-MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 49 W. Church Street, Centerburg, Thursday 5-7 p.m.. Graveside service and interment will be held at Bloomfield Cemetery Friday at 11 a.m., Pastors, David DeWitt and Ryan Skelton, officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Sparta United Methodist Church or Hospice of Knox County.
