Mitchell Paul McElwee, 50, passed away at home on March 17, 2023 after a brutal battle with cancer. From Westerville, OH (originally from Columbus, OH). Preceeded in death by his father Gregrory McElwee. Survived by his wife Wendy McElwee, step-daughters Sarah Tippie and Alexandra Tippie, mother Mary Beth McElwee, sister Denise McElwee, niece Stacey Coffey and her son Taetum Brooks, cousin Lori Lunsford and her son Jake McNamee, uncle Richard Lunsford and very good friend Darren Lawrence. Visitation hours from 6-8pm on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at MORELAND FUNERAL HOME 55 E. Schrock Rd. Westerville 43081.

So sorry for your loss. 
I have known Mitchell for about 15 years plus. He was our patient. We use to joke around and laugh. I did not realize when I seen him in February it would be the last. Condolences to all of his family and friends. Prayers

So very sorry to find out about Mitch. I'm his mother's sister and remember Mitch as a little boy along with "Sissy". Since he went to the Cleveland Clinic I know he received the best of care. His family will be in my prayers.
