Mike Earl Kemp passed away peacefully in his sleep in September 10, 2024. He was just shy of his 72nd birthday. He was born on October 5, 1952 in Columbus, Ohio by Earl and Thelma Kemp. He was widowed by Madelyn Kemp and father to Jessica Kemp, step father to Michael Brooks. Grandfather to Jimmy Hahn, Sean Milligan, Emily Milligan, Colton Milligan, Layna Anne Brooks and Garrett Michael Brooks. Brother to Melinda Murphy, Helen Bare, Jack Kemp. He loved John Wayne, western movies, fishing in Florida and he wanted to be a cowboy. Friends may call Monday September 16, 2024 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Moreland Funeral Home 55 East Schrock Road, Westerville, OH 43081 where service will follow at 1:00 with Rev. David Hogg officiating. Interment at Blendon Central Cemetery.

Mike our family will not be the same without you, I will miss our long talks, the one person I could go to for advice my “My Big Brother” I miss you more each day. We talked about Jesus and I know you are with him. I will do as you ask and take care of Jessie and the grandkids. We all loved you and will never forget you.

I am so very sorry to hear of Mike's passing. He was a great guy and I have many fond memories of him from when we were all young and dumb. He was always such a good guy and would come to see me whenever I was in town, of course wearing his signature bibs and tshirt. 
My deepest sympathies to Jessie and her family and to Mike's family.
