Shelli was a 1984 graduate of Westerville South High and attended The Ohio State College of Barber Styling.
Shelli was a kind, considerate, and hardworking individual. She began her career as a barber, spending many years cutting hair at Worthington Barber before transitioning to a new role as a Pharmacy Client Service Representative at Modern Medical. Her dedication and excellence in customer service earned her recognition in Columbus CEO magazine as an Outstanding Customer Service Representative. She then went on to finish her career at FairosRx as a Pharmacy Experience Manager. Whatever she did, Shelli took great pride in her work, giving her full attention to every detail and every person she encountered.
Shelli loved watching the OSU Buckeyes, reality TV, having movie night, and had an immense love of country music, especially listening to her favorite singer Kenny Chesney, attending country music concerts. Her favorite place to travel was anywhere with a beach where she could put her toes in the sand, kick back and enjoy the scenery. But most importantly, she loved spending time with her family.
Our family is planning a Celebration of Life, date still to be determined but will be shared in the weeks to come.
Condolences

She was my big cousin, but felt more like a big sister. I always looked up to her when I was growing up. She was everything I wanted to be. She had the cool car, the cute boy, the great career, and was oh so stunning. I was constantly showing up at her work as a kid and, even though I'm sure it was a bit annoying, she never made me feel like it was. Always happy to see me and hear what I was up to. As adults we grew apart. When I started reconnecting with family, it was moments before she lost her son. Through her own grief, she welcomed me to celebrate him with open arms. But that's just Shelli. Always kind. I will miss you.

I’m so sorry to hear about Shelli’s passing. Losing her to cancer feels like a heavy blow, even though we weren’t as close in recent years. When we were younger, she was someone I really looked up to—those memories of her cutting my hair or the two of us playing with Prudence, our English sheepdog, are still so vivid and happy. They’re moments I’ll always hold onto. I’ll miss her more than I expected, and I hope she’s at peace now. Thinking of you and everyone else who loved her during this tough time.
