He enlisted in the Air Force and was stationed in Europe during World War II. Afterwards, he lived in California for sometime before moving back to Wheeling West VA and marrying Myrna Massey Rouhana in 1969. They moved to Westerville and raised a son and a daughter. Michel worked as an electrical wireman for Lennox Industries for 33 years. He retired in 1993. Michel enjoyed watching sports of all kinds, keeping up with politics, traveling and grilling. He was also known for his kind and generous ways, and his love for his family. One of his favorite things were trips to Wheeling to visit his mother, sisters, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.
