GOEB

Michael Goeb April 7th 1944 to February 3rd 2013. Michael was born in Columbus, Ohio the only child of Alberta and Cornelius Goeb. Michael was an engineer on the railroad for the majority of his employed years. However, many remember and love him for his role as Mr. Food at Jolly Tots Childcare Center, a local business owned and operated by him and his wife with locations in Worthington and New Albany. Michael was a family man devoted to his wife, children, and grandchildren. He was a fun, nurturing and loving father to his four children. He enjoyed amusement parks, racing, fishing, football, traveling, and spending time with his family. Michael loved a good party surrounded by family and friends with great food, spirits, music, and dancing. He was a caring, gentle, and generous man loved by all his family and friends. Michael enjoyed his time with his girlfriend Martha Conley and the family is very grateful for their loving relationship and the joy and companionship she provided for him the last few years of his life. While Michael did not enjoy good health this last year, the family finds comfort in knowing he is in the arms of our loving father dancing again with his heavenly family and friends. Dad,
I love you and I will forever miss you from my heart. May you watch over us with smiling eyes. I hope that when my time comes that you and mom will help to greet me at God’s door. Give Mom a kiss from me. May you be happy in Heaven. God bless you. Thank you to all who attended the funeral, God bless.

Daddy, as I watched you laying there in bed I could see you were tired. You have given me such a wonderful childhood and memories that I will cherish each and every day; for that I take comfort knowing that u are resting peacefully with our Lord. Thank you for the countless games of Yahtzee, Euchure, Uno and many more. Thank you for letting me win some of those games as well, lol. Thank you for making our vacations so much fun for I will never forget them or the many games of the “alphabet” game followed by the “Stuckeys ” game. I don’t think there is enough room to say it all, so to sum it up: I have always been so proud to have a daddy like you:) loving and kissing you all over daddy:)
