Mary Willis, age 87, of Westerville, OH passed away December 6, 2017. Retired nurse from Joint Implant Surgeons, Inc. and formerly with Mt. Carmel Hospital West. Longtime member of Maize Road Baptist Church and former member of North Linden Baptist Church. Survived by her son, Thomas (Kimberly) Willis; daughters, Suzanne (James) Welsh of Plano, TX and Sandra (David) Kronk of Westerville; grandchildren, Andrew Willis, Joel Willis, Alison Welsh, Lyndsey (John) Lewellen, Sarah (Elessio) Willis-Garcia, Eric Welsh, Jonathan Willis and Madison Staten; 7 great-grandchildren; sisters, Frankie and Glenna Lewis; brother, Donald (Joyce) Lewis; several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Charles; parents, William and Cinda Lewis; brothers, Brownlow, Lloyd, Clifford, Danie and Jack. Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Saturday 11 a.m.-1 p.m. followed by a service at 1 p.m., Pastor Brett Castle, officiating. Interment Kingwood Memorial Park.

Mary was our angel at Joint Implant Surgeons in surgery. She took care of all of us . She had homemade muffins for us every morning. She mentored all of us, surgeons included, and never grew tired of our long days together.
I worked with Mary from 1974 to 1980, and then from 1985 to 1988, and finally from 1990 to 1994.
I am sorry for your loss but know that she is with Charles and in a better place.
I am sorry that I cannot attend her service. I am living in New York state now.
