Born in Indianapolis, IN to Lavena and Cleo Kern, she spent much of her childhood between Indianapolis and Walnut Hill, IL. It was while living in Walnut Hill that she attended and graduated from Centralia High School. She retired after 30 plus years, but returned later to the PX as a stock clerk. While living in Indianapolis she became a member of the North Eastwood Christian Church, where she was an active member for many years. Upon moving to Lewis Center, OH in 1998, she became a member of the Westerville Christian Church and member of WOW (Westerville Older Wonders). The family would like to thank the Worthington Christian Village, 6th Floor Assisted Living staff for their kind and gentle care during her stay there for the past 5 months.
