McKEEN
Mary Lou McKeen, age 65, of Westerville, Ohio, stepped into heaven Monday, July 20, 2015. Retired after 35 years as a school teacher for the Westerville City Schools. Avid volunteer at both the Hanby House and Ohio Village for many years. Preceded in death by her parents, Jean and Granville Hammond. Survived by daughter, Sharon Rapp; friend, Mack Bailey; grandchildren, Mia and Mason Rapp. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Monday, July 27th at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME 55 East Schrock Road, Westerville. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Hanby House at www.hanbyhouse.org or c/o Westerville Historical Society, PO Box 1063 Westerville, Ohio 43086.

Sharon and family,
I am so sorry for your loss. Your Mom and I went to Otterbein together and have remained friends. At Otterbein, we double dated, took classes together, etc. Later,your Mom taught both of my children at Robert Frost. I will miss your Mom’s laugh, smile and wonderful, warm personality. She was a special lady!
