Mary Elizabeth Petry Cross entered her eternal home Tuesday May 18, 2010 at age 97. Mary was born 11/1/1912 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Jeremiah James & Elbertie Eliza Petry. Graduate of Columbus North High School and retired Head Cashier of Albers Grocery Store in Westerville. Preceded in death by the love of her life, J. Harold Cross, sisters Hazel Thompson, Jean Salzgaber, Sarah Louise Petry and Helen Baxla. Brothers Robert, Paul & Warren Petry. Survived by loving nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and many loving and caring friends. Member of Central College Presbyterian Church and the Mary Circle. Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME 55 East Schrock Road Westerville, 5-9 p.m. Friday May 21, 2010. A Celebration of Mary’s life will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday May 22, 2010 at the Ellsworth Chapel, Central College Presbyterian Church, 975 South Sunbury Road Westerville, Ohio 43081. Rev. David Redding officiating. Interment Blendon Central Cemetery.
