Dr. Martin Nathan Haas, 76, of Las Vegas, Nevada, formerly of Pendleton, NY, passed away Sunday, June 21, 2015 at The James Hospital, following a long term illness. Retired Nuclear and Health Physicist from University of Buffalo; President & Owner of E.N.S.A. and long term employee of the Department of Energy. Member of Health Physics Society; Las Vegas Mountaineering Club. Veteran of U.S. Navy where he help in the design of the first Nuclear Power Sub under Admiral Rickover. Preceded in death by wife, Janice Ellen (Olsen) Haas; parents, Martin Charles and Rose Haas and sister Marsha Haas. Survived by children; Patricia (Michael) Bolton of Mass., Martin (Kelley) Haas of Westerville and Krista (Ravi) Gaddam of Westerville. Grandchildren; Janice, Lauren, Michael, Martin Alex, Gillian, Nathan and Simha. Sisters; Holly (John) Savory, Susan Seyler, Nancy (Steve) McGee, Lillian (Robert) Gold and Teri (John) McNamara and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 East Schrock Road Westerville, 6-8 p.m. Wednesday. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, June 25, 2015 at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 313 North State Street, Westerville, Rev. Fr. David E. Gwinner, Celebrant.
