Marjorie Sharpe Fynewever, 97, formerly of Toledo, Ohio, passed away in Westerville, Ohio (where she had lived for the past two years) on March 9, 2012, due to complications from a heart attack. She was surrounded by family, and passed away peacefully. She was born in Defiance, Ohio, January 14, 1915. Marjorie grew up and graduated from school in Liberty Center, Ohio, and obtained a teaching degree from BGSU, prior to marrying Howard Sharpe in 1937. They spent the next 50 years living, working, and raising a family in Toledo, Ohio. Marjorie was a long time employee at the JC Penney store at Miracle Mile shopping center. Upon Howard’s passing in 1988, Marjorie married Glenn Fynewever in 1991, and lived in Holland, Michigan where she stayed even after she was widowed again. Marjorie enjoyed knitting, playing cards, and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She is survived by daughter, Bonnie Bennett(Charles); son, Daniel Sharpe(Sharon); five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She is also survived by many step children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren in the Fynewever family. She was a strong and loving woman, and will be missed by all of us.
