GALE
Marilyn J. Gale, age 80, of Westerville; passed away Friday, May 13, 2016 at St. Ann’s Hospital. Retired teacher from Westerville City Schools after 35 years. Active member of Central College Presbyterian Church, long time president of Westerville Historical Society, tour guide of Hanby House, Recipient of the Woman of Faith award from Presbytery. Preceded in death by husband of 48 years, Jack. Survived by children Jill Gale of Gahanna, John (Sarita) Gale of Springfield, and Jeff (Susan) Gale of Westerville; grandchildren Tim (Julie), Stephen (Rebecca), Amie (Jacob-fiance), Katherine, Kevin, Keith, Ben and Lilly; sisters Arleen Bower of Marengo, IL and Shirley (William) Short of St. Charles, IL; sister-in-law Joyce Brown of Glen Ellyn, IL; much extended family. Friends may call at Moreland Funeral Home, 55 E Schrock Rd, Westerville, OH on Tuesday, May 17th from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Funeral service will be held at Central College Presbyterian Church, 975 S. Sunbury Road, Westerville at 10 am, Wednesday, May 18th. Interment Blendon Central Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Central College Presbyterian Church or Westerville Historical Society.

Marilyn was a true leader and respected by my husband, Hal and I as members of CCPC! She was also a great role model since she had a beautiful family, was a leader in our Church and also had a career as a respected teacher.
