Margaret Ann (Carr) Williams, 94, of Dublin (and formerly Westerville, OH) passed away on Nov. 29, 2023. She was born on November 10, 1929 to Bus and Peg Carr of Marysville, OH. She graduated from Marysville High School in 1947 and received her Bachelor of Science degree from The Ohio State University in 1951.

After marrying Frederick T. Williams on June 15, 1951, she taught math and science in the Hilliard and Westerville Schools.

A lifetime member, she was Past President of Young-Budd #171 and 12th District President in the American Legion Auxiliary. She was Past Worthy High Priestess of North Star Shrine #45, Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem, and a member for over 50 years. Ann also held leadership positions in Eastern Star, the Court of Amaranth, and Eight and Forty.

She was a member of the Church of the Messiah United Methodist Church for over 70 years, and enjoyed several years attending First Community Church in Hilliard. An avid Buckeye fan, she was an active member of the Franklin County OSU Alumni Club. Ann always enjoyed watching Fred "Dot the I" in the 1950 Rose Bowl, and later, TBDBITL.

She was preceded in death by parents, Herman W. and Margaret J. Carr; husband, Judge Frederick T. Williams; husband, William Heacock; daughter, Linda Lee Maidlow; and son-in-law, Thomas N. King. She is survived by her brother, Dr. Don W. Carr; daughters, Sandra W. Anderson, O.D. (Paul) and Cynthia L. King. Surviving grandchildren include Mary E. Maidlow (Coy), Carl E. Anderson (Molly), and Susan L. Anderson; along with 5 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

Visitation will be held at the Moreland Funeral Home, 55 E. Schrock Rd, Westerville, OH on Monday, December 4, 2023 at 7:00 pm. This will be followed by a White Shrine ceremony at 8:00 pm and the American Legion Auxiliary at 8:15 pm.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at First Community Church South, 1320 Cambridge Blvd, Columbus, OH 43212 on Friday, December 22, 2023 at 10:00 am. A private burial will immediately follow at Blendon Cemetery in Westerville.

Memorial contributions may be made to the First Community Foundation Friends of Music Fund or the Pelotonia Forward Fund for cancer research.
