COLIN
Marcia Glenn Colin, age 85, of Westerville, OH. March 11, 2013. Born May 9, 1927 in Poughkeepsie, NY, the only daughter of Sperry Lester and Gladys Elizabeth Anderson Glenn. Member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Steubenville, OH, Alfred Moore Chapter of the DAR, and Charter member of the Deep River Chapter of the Colonial Dames Seventeenth Century. She was actively involved with the Fayette County Pennslyvania and Broome County New York American Red Cross. One of her proudest accomplishments was being instrumental in the design and construction of a new Red Cross Chapter House. Survived by children, Robert John (Diane) Colin, Jr. of Raleigh, NC, Lisa Colin (Paul) Zavatchan of Westerville, OH and Glenn Alan (Betsy) Colin of Columbus, OH; grandchildren; Tori (Joe) Begeny, Wendy (Marty) Ferguson, Merissa (Michael) Ferguson, Brittany Colin and Robert Brent Colin; great-grandchildren, Jonathan and Alex Begeny and Andrew Ferguson. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert J. Colin; brothers, Sperry L. Glenn Jr. and Robert A. Glenn. Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Thursday 6-8 p.m.. Funeral mass will be held at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 415 Adams Street, Steubenville, OH Friday at 1:30 p.m. with visitation 1 hour before mass. Interment Union Cemetery, Steubenville, OH. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Steubenville, OH 43952 or Odyssey Hospice, 540 Officenter Place, Suite 100, Gahanna, OH 43230.
