CLARK

Louise E. Clark, age 98, passed away on September 26, 2011. A longtime resident of Westerville, Louise was the wife of the late Orville W. Clark and is survived by her children, Marlene Meade, Gail MacCall, Larry (Patricia) Clark, and Jerry (Margaret) Clark. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 66 years; her daughter, Jeannine Kunze; grandson, David William Dennis; siblings, Marie Baker, Hazel Vinsek, Paul Altman and Clair Altman. Growing up in Youngwood, PA, Louise was born on August 24, 1913, the second of Sam and Dora Altman’s five children. She married her high school sweetheart and they started their family in Youngwood, but soon relocated to central Ohio for O.W.’s work with the Pennsylvania Railroad. The couple welcomed three beautiful daughters and a lively set of twin sons. From this union came the five children, 14 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews in Pennsylvania. Louise was a proud member of the Eastern Star Triangle Chapter 592, OES. She enjoyed a delightful ladies card club in the neighborhood and when her housework was done she sat down to watch her “stories” on afternoon television. In addition to being a doting wife, mother, sister and friend, Louise will be remembered for her sharp wit and lasting beauty. Friends may visit Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME 55 East Schrock Road, Westerville where a service will be held Friday at 11 a.m..
