Louis Whitney Naylor, a wonderful brother, brother-in-law and friend passed away on June 28, 2024 at St. Ann's Hospital in Westerville, OH after a long illness. Louis was born December 11, 1947 in Munich, Germany to Major Charles R. Naylor (Retired) and Virginia Yarberry Naylor. Louis grew up as an Army brat and lived in Augsburg, Germany, Ft. Hood, Texas, Homestead, Florida, Gahanna, Ohio and Florissant , Missouri where he graduated from High School and enlisted in the Army in 1966. Louis served in Germany and Viet Nam unitil 1969 with an Honorable discharge. Louis returned to Columbus, OH where he worked several jobs before working at Timken Roller Bearing for 28 years before Timken closed this plant. Louis retired with 28 years of service. Louis was married once 1978-1982 which ended in divorce with no children. Louis was preceded in death by his parents, Atty. veteran brother, Charles, Jr., sister, Lizabeth Ann McKinney. Louis leaves behind sisters, Mae Cain and Pamela, brother, retired Army First Sgt. Phillip; many nieces and nephews. A celebration of his life will be held later.
