L. Nathan Black, age 95, of Westerville, OH. February 15, 2010 at home. Retired Church of Christ minister who served in Ohio and Kentucky. Survived by children, Linda (Martin) Strayer of Westerville, David (Susan) Black of Dayton, OH, Roger (Debi) Black of Ravenna, OH and Randi (Roger) Crego of Centerburg; 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; sisters, Martha Miller of East Sparta, OH and Rose (Robert) Johanning of North Industry, OH; sister-in-law, Marie Black of Ft. Myers, FL; brother-in-law, Eugene Close of Magnolia, OH; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his wife, Doris, brother, Donald and sister, Kathleen Close. Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Thursday
5-8 p.m.. Service will be held at North Park Church of Christ, 4938 Westerville Road, Columbus, OH Friday at 11 a.m. Ministers Steve Petty and Roger Crego, officiating. Interment Eastview Cemetery, Centerburg, OH.

I taught several years with your mom. What an incredible woman. She so loved your dad. I have lots of great memories of their back-and-forth humor with each other. I know she’s so glad to be with him again. I know how difficult it is for all of you, but he’s with his Savior and with his wife. What a great place to be! My prayers are with all of you!
