Steve & Family…My thoughts and prayers are with all of you in your time of loss. May God comfort you and hold you gently in His arms as you grieve. Lois touched my life, and I will never forget her or our times together at Martha Morehouse. It was my privilege to assist in her care. She will be very, very missed. I look forward to sharing more time with Lois in eternity!

So sorry to hear of your loss. When I think of 4-H, I think of the Ides. I was too young to have the experiences my brothers and sister had, but it was still special and Mr. and Mrs. Ide were responsible for that. Thanks. Mandy

Mrs. Ide was like our second Mom as she and Mr. Ide led our Westerville Wranglers 4-H Club in the 70’s and early 80’s. We would even jokingly (and lovingly) call her Mom. I can still close my eyes and see that big smile on her face.
As you grow up, you meet a few people that really make an impact and shape the kind of adult that you will become. I am sure that I am not the only one that feels that Mr. and Mrs. Ide had that kind of an impact on me. She made a difference.
I am thankful for the time that I was able to share with Mrs. Ide (and the family) just a year ago at my Father’s memorial service and I know what Phil, Lori and Danielle are feeling now. I hope that you all find comfort in knowing that she is at peace now and in God’s loving hands.
I am sorry I can not be there but know that I am there with you in my heart.
God Bless You!

Mama Lois..So many memories and not enough words to express what a wonderful lady you were. My heart aches for your loss but I find comfort in knowing that Heaven has a new angel who will watch over all of us. When I feel the warmth of the sun or a gentle breeze I will think fondly of you and know that you are with me and forever in my heart. I love you.

I grew up across the street from Lois and her family. I’m glad I got to see her when I was home in April although it was for my Mom’s funeral.
My deepest symphathies to the family.

Steve and family:
My family and I have been blessed to know Lois Ide! I loved working with her! One never had to guess where Lois was coming from. She would tell you whether you wanted to hear it or not! Our daughter Kelly and the other members of the Olentangy Girls’ Basketball Team loved her too! She will be sorely missed!

I worked with Lois for a few short years before she retired. But when i first started working with her, she took me under her wing & showed me the ropes of being a bus driver. She very quickly became known to me as “Momma Lois”, love her very much! My thoughts & prayers are with the family. God Bless, and “May the sun come out tomorrow”
