Lois Marie Hopkins, 75, of Centerburg, Ohio, passed away August 14, 2013 following a courageous 3 year battle with pancreatic Cancer. Calling hours will be held on Saturday August 17, 2013 from 2-4 p.m. at the JOHNSON-MELICK-MORELAND FUNERAL HOME 49 West Church Street Centerburg. Lois was born in Wheeling, West Virginia on August 8, 1938. She graduated from St. Joseph’s Academy. Lois was married to Bob Hopkins on September 15, 1956; they were married 50 years. Lois worked several jobs throughout her life, but mostly she enjoyed her job as mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Lois is survived by her children Karen (Gio) Ratliff, Janet Thompson, Diane (Bobby) Craker, Christine (Tommy) Gannon and Bobby (Theresa) Hopkins; her grandchildren, Christopher Hopkins, Brian Thompson, Kevin Thompson, Brittany Craker, Tommy Gannon, T.T. Thompson, Jason Ratliff, Dylan Craker, Reece Craker; her great-grandchildren; Tommy Gannon III, Kyleigh Craker and Paisley Craker and other family and friends. Lois was preceded in death by her husband Bob, grandson Tommy and son-in-law, Tommy. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to: Kobacker House, C/O Ohio Health Foundation, 180 E. Broad St. Columbus, Ohio 43215-9946 in memory of Lois Hopkins.
