Linda C. (Proffitt) Osborne, 66, of Columbus, passed away Wednesday September 30, 2015 at Riverside Hospital. Preceded in death by parents, Otis & Ethel Proffitt and brother, Jimmy Proffitt. Survived by loving husband of 42 years, Sammie J. Osborne; children Ron (Sandy) Proffitt of Florida and Michelle (Mike) Mattingly of Zanesville, OH; grandchildren, Sheniqua Chambers, Kianna Johnson, Zack and Ellie Profitt; great grandchildren, Daveon and Faith; brothers, Roger Blevins of Italy, Jerry Proffitt of Columbus and Danny (Barb) Proffitt of Mass.; 19 nieces and nephews. (NOTE CHANGE) Friends may call at the CROSS ROADS BAPTIST CHURCH, 5075 Cleveland Avenue, Columbus, Ohio, 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Thursday where service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday October 9, 2015, Pastor Paul Gabriel officiating.
