DAVIS
Lillian G. Davis, age 95, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away at Riverside Hospital, Sunday, January 16, 2011. Lillian was born October 5, 1915 to Robert and Sarah Jane (Evans) Willie. She was a lifelong resident of the Linden area, member of Christ Presbyterian Church and graduated from North High School. She was married to the love of her life,Tom Davis, in 1937 and remained inseparable for more than 62 years before he preceeded her in death. Lillian retired from Linden McKinley High School cafeteria staff. She loved her family, friends and the church.
Lillian is survived by her loving son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Carolyn Davis of Westerville; granddaughter, Lorie (Brian) Swank of Westerville; great grandchildren, Danielle and Aric Merola; sister-in-law, Betty Willie of Columbus; several nieces and nephews including, Doug and Jennifer Hodge, Milton and Sharon Rayman, Norma Jean and Jim Redmond, Harry and Sue Davis; and many special friends including Helen Sabin. Lillian was preceeded in death by her sister, Mary Ellen Rayman and brother, Robert Willie. Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Tuesday 5:30-8 p.m. where service will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m., Pastor Pam Patterson, officiating. Interment Blendon Central Cemetery.

I just wanted to offer my most sincere condolences for the passing of such a great woman. I had the pleasure of delivering Lillian meals through Lifecare Alliance. My brief visit with her monthly was the brightest part of my day. Warm memories will be replaced by sadness soon. God bless you and your families.
