LeRoy Walker, age 85, of Westerville, born February 4, 1938 and died July 15, 2023. LeRoy entered the Army after graduating from Mifflin High School. Later he worked for Ohio Bell Telephone Co. and retired with 38 years of service. LeRoy loved sports and played basketball in many City Leagues. He also donated 105 pints of blood over his lifetime. LeRoy is survived by his wife, Winnie; son, Jerry (Stephanie) Walker; daughter, Jennifer Walker; grandson, Alejandro Walker; sister-in-law, Bea Walker; brother, Frank Walker; sister, Glenna (Gordon) Kaylor; many wonderful nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, Ida and Lester Walker, brother, Larry Walker and sister, Edna Jane Dunnegan. There will be no funeral services as per LeRoy's wishes.

To Winnie and family, I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of Leroy. For many years over the last two decades, I have seen him at the Mifflin cemetery's Memorial Day service. He was such a sweet and funny man. Ironically my dad (Charlie Ott) named his walker "Leroy" after him. Dad just passed on July 1st.
