Leon Phillips, 85, passed away on October 23, 2015 in Westerville, Ohio. Leon was born in Oneonta, Alabama to Jordan D and Lily C Phillips on December 23, 1929. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jordan D. and Lily C. Phillips, and his wife Dorothy Rosamond Phillips. He is survived by his daughter Theresa Gladden and son-in-law Richard Gladden of Powell, Ohio. His grand-daughter. Jennifer Glasgow and her husband Aaron Glasgow, and great grandchildren Eric, Ailey and Carter Glasgow of Westerville, Ohio. He is also survived by his sister, Eloise Hogeland and brother, Wendell Phillips of Gardendale, Alabama. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday November 21st at Friendship Village of Columbus. Rev. Rebecca Scott Ozcomert officiating. In lieu of flowers gifts can be made in memory of Leon Phillips to Friendship Village of Columbus, 5800 Forest Hills Blvd., Columbus, OH 43231.
