LaVerna G. Edgerley, 84, passed away October 28, 2009 at Riverside Hospital. Born, March 31, 1925 in St. Benedict, Kansas. Preceded in death by husband Raymond; sons, Raymond Edgerley Jr. and Ronald Edgerley; sister, Bernita Schramm; brothers, Arthur, Alfred, Lester and Eugene Hammes; granddaughter, Michelle Mazzone; son-in-law, Michael Mazzone. Survived by sisters, Luella Brinker and Edna Edgerley; daughters, Shirley Mazzone, Linda Sackschewsky (Wilford) and Elizabeth (Bettie) Armstrong (Ed); eternal friends and daughter-in-laws Sharon Edgerley and Deborah Olbrys (Barney). grandchildren,
Allen (Christie), David (Julie) Laurie (Kirk), Ryan (Chelsea) Sackschewsky, Melynda (Michael) Rizzo, Andrew (Anne) Breanne, Ashleigh Armstrong, Ronald Edgerley Jr., and Katie Edgerley. 11 great grandchildren. Many nieces and nephews. LaVerna was a longtime competitive bowler, as well as day manager of Clinton Lanes and Fiesta Lanes. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 31, 2009 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, 6077 Sharon Woods Blvd. Columbus, Ohio with visitation from 9-10 a.m. Fr. Charles E.Cotton Celebrant. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
