Laurie S. Sowers, age 55, of Westerville, OH passed away Sunday, January 23, 2011. Born in Ashland , OH on July 9, 1955. Graduated from Westerville South High School. Worked as a communications supervisor at Grady Memorial Hospital. She is survived by brothers, Jeff Sowers of Johnstown, OH and Mike (Kelly) Sowers of Powell, OH; sister, Paula McConaghy of Westerville, OH; nieces and nephews, Steve (Teresa) McConaghy, Lisa McConaghy Sulser, Lora (Rick) Andrix, Jeffrey (Jessica) Sowers, Jordan Sowers and Rachel Sowers; great nieces and nephews, Taylor McConaghy, Zachary McConaghy, McKenzie Andrix and Nash Andrix. Friends may visit Thursday, January 27th from 4-7 p.m. at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME 55 East Schrock Road, Westerville where a memorial service will follow at 7 p.m.. Rev. Jim Wilson officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Central Ohio Diabetes Assciation 1100 Dennison Ave., Columbus, OH 43201.
